Howdy and welcome to My Gun Room!

Another year gone! I can hardly believe we've been here two years already. I has been fun though. I know we didn't get a lot of the things done that we wanted to; we have a huge backup in the Lost & Stolen Gun Reports. I apoligize to those that have posted in this last year. We will have them up by the end of June!

Over the last two yeasr we have received numerous compliments and suggestions. THANK YOU, we have enjoyed them all. PLEASE KEEP THEM COMING. Especially the one's with spelling errors and other mistakes. Seems like our spell checker isn't working correctly and we let a few by this last year. But we have a new checker so hopfully we'll catch them all now.

Last year we added MADISON'S PAGE. He talks about the firearm issues we have facing us every day. We ahve had a very good response to his articles. He promises us new articles again this year and more of them. If you haven't checked him out you shoould.

Which brings me to another issue. We are looing for someone who wants to write some articles for us. It can be on just about any subject - as long as it is Outdoor related. If you're interested drop us an email with your telephone number and we'll talk about it. If you want to send a small piece of what you want to do.

We want to reaffirm our commitment to making this site the ULTIMATE GUN ROOM. We can still give you one guarantee or promises: "We will give you 100% effort at all times." Our goal is simple; when you enter www.mygunroom.com it should feel like home. Tell us what you want or don't want and we will see what we can do!

We will be making some purely cosmetic changes as time passes. We hope they will be for the better but if they are not let us know. If we put some text up that you can't read just pound on the door. I promise we read and heed every piece of email we get. No, that doesn't mean we are going to do 100% of what you suggest. sometimes it is not feasible. But if it will truly make the site better we will give it a good hard look. In some cases we will (and have) worked on your suggestions offline only to find it really didn't work well, so you didn't see it up and running. But be assured we look at them all with equal weight.

We get a little newsletter from the NRA-ILA each week. In general it gives a few brief synopsus of the Firearm related happenings in our Goverment. And when something really important is coming up - like a vote on a piece of Pro or Anti-un Legislation - they let you know it and who to contact. We offer this strictly as a service. In truth you should follow the link we have and sign up with the NRA-ILA to have this emailed to you directly. This is a free newsletter and you don't have to belong to the NRA to get it.

The Firearms issues are to important to let them go by because you don't like the NRA's policiys. Funny thing about that - it is just like our Government. If you don't like what they are doing and saying let them know that. Vote in the people you want and vote out the one's you don't. Personaly I'm a Life Member an will always be. I won't always agree with the leadership but I won't go behind there backs and undermind them either. Read it! And remember to stay aware and prepared for the next time!!!
