These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the services provided by Mayhem Development LLC, dba as MyGunRoom.com ("we," "us," or "our"), including our website, mobile app, and any related features (collectively, the "Platform"). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. Eligibility


You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Platform's sharing or trading features. Users under 18 may only use limited tracking features under parental supervision and with verifiable parental consent where required by law (e.g., app store rules in certain states). You represent that you meet these requirements and that all information you provide is accurate.

2. User Accounts

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms.

3. User Content and Inventory

  • You retain ownership of any content you upload (e.g., item descriptions, photos, notes about belongings). By uploading, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and use it to operate the Platform (including facilitating shares/trades).
  • You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your inventory data and any shared/traded item details. We do not verify or endorse user content.

4. Sharing and Trading Features

  • The Platform allows users to share item listings or propose/accept trades with others. All interactions are between users — we are not a party to any agreement, sale, trade, or transfer of belongings.
  • Trades/shares occur directly between users; we provide only the tools and do not guarantee fulfillment, quality, safety, or legality of any item or transaction.
  • You agree to handle all communications, disputes, and logistics (e.g., shipping, meeting for handover) independently.
  • We may remove listings or suspend users for reported issues (e.g., fraud, prohibited items).

5. Prohibited Conduct


You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for illegal purposes, including trading stolen, counterfeit, hazardous, or restricted items (e.g., firearms, drugs, weapons without compliance with all laws).
  • Misrepresent items, engage in fraud, harassment, or spam.
  • Interfere with the Platform's operation or other users' experience.
  • Violate any applicable laws, including age restrictions on certain items.

6. Fees and Payments (if applicable)


Currently, the Platform is free to use. If we introduce fees (e.g., premium features or transaction fees), they will be disclosed in advance. We may use third-party payment processors; their terms apply to payments.

7. Intellectual Property


The Platform (design, software, trademarks, etc.) is owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, or reverse-engineer it without permission.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

  • THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT IT WILL BE ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR PURPOSES.
  • WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE, INCLUDING LOST ITEMS, DISPUTED TRADES, OR USER INTERACTIONS.
  • OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PRIOR 12 MONTHS (WHICHEVER IS GREATER).
  • You assume all risks related to sharing/trading physical items (e.g., loss, damage, theft).

9. Indemnification


You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from your use of the Platform, your content, or your interactions with other users.

10. Termination


We may terminate or suspend your access at any time for violations. You may delete your account via settings. Upon termination, your inventory data may be deleted (subject to backups).

11. Governing Law


These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Disputes shall be resolved in courts located in Springfield, Missouri (or arbitration if we elect).

12. Changes to Terms


We may update these Terms. Changes will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
